Why Is a Risk-Aware Culture “Unembraced” & How To Avoid This 

Marques A. Holmes is a firm believer that everything rises and falls on leadership.

Through his own trial and errors, Marques learned being a leader sometimes doesn’t mean being out front or leading the pack. He believes in the 360° leader, a person having the ability to impact their organization, their clients or relationships whether they’re the CEO, a middle manager or volunteer.  Through his style of consulting, Marques has effectively showed several companies & organizations that gaining a position in the market place is far less important than ensuring the success of a company’s greatest asset:  it’s employees.  

Marques’ prior experience involves several leadership positions in Corporate America including Fortune 500 companies. Marques initially got his start in the security, medical and travel medical risk profession while working for International SOS.  During his tenure there, he served in key roles but none more important than being Regional Director of Account Management.  During this leadership position, Marques and his team of 6 account managers managed a $25M+ book of business with over 500+ accounts where the main responsibility was lifecycle management of one of the largest books of business across the globe for International SOS. 

In his current role with iJET International as Regional Director, Marques brings to bear best practices across the industry to help assist prospective and current clients in enhancing their travel, expat, asset and logistics processes.  

With designations as a Certified D.I.S.C Instructor, John Maxwell Certified Speaker and Franklin Covey’s 4 Disciplines of Execution, Marques has an insatiable appetite for learning and helping companies in their Duty of Care process.

Marques is happily married to his beautiful wife & best friend Krystal. They have two amazing children, Major who is 6-years old and his daughter Kamille who is 24-years old and graduated this year from college.  Marques and his family live in Humble, TX but are originally from Albuquerque, NM and Durham, NC respectively.  

At the end of day, Marques’ greatest joy is helping people and companies execute on their potential.
