Frank Miller is the Aviation Director of the San Antonio Airport System with responsibility for San Antonio International Airport and Stinson Municipal Airport, accepting this position in May 2009. Mr. Miller has 32 years of experience in the planning, design, operation and management of public airports.  His background includes the successful completion of multiple airport construction and expansion projects and innovative air service development efforts. Prior to San Antonio, Mr. Miller has held the positions of Airport Director in Pensacola, Florida, Grand Junction, Colorado and Juneau, Alaska.

Mr. Miller is a Past Chairman of Airports Council International, North America, which represents airports in the United States and Canada and one of 5 regions worldwide, which make up Airports Council International World.  Frank served on the Airports Council International World Governing Board.  Mr. Miller is the Past Chairman of the Secure Airports for Florida’s Economy, created by the Florida Legislature in 2003 to recommend to the Governor and legislature methods and projects that improve air transportation, enhance the security of Florida’s air transportation system, and benefit economic development; Past President of the Florida Airport Managers Association; Past Statewide Chairman of the Continuing Florida Aviation System Planning Process; Past President of the Southeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives; and past member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Airport Executives.
