Rob Engels is a seasoned professional in the car rental industry, currently serving as the Global Account Manager for AVIS. Based in Dallas, Rob has been a valuable member of the Avis Budget Group for a decade, having been promoted from Mid-Market Corporate Account Manager to his current role in March of this year.

Rob's career in car rentals began in 1987 as a Corporate Account Manager with National Car Rental in Richmond, VA. He demonstrated exceptional skills as a two-time Regional Salesperson of the Year at National. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of National Accounts and Director of Sales. These roles necessitated several relocations from Virginia to Texas, Northern California, and back to Texas.

After a brief hiatus from the travel industry in 2007, Rob rejoined the sector in 2013 with Avis Budget as a Corporate Account Manager. He earned the Avis Budget's Best in Class Award in 2019 in this role.

Rob resides in Plano, TX, with his wife Holli, their rescue cat Hitch, and Willow, their 4-year-old Scottish Terrier. He has two married stepsons based in Savannah, GA. Rob enjoys yard work, playing golf, and watching college football in his leisure time.
