What is SAF and why is it the key piece to decarbonizing a aviation, a hard-to-decarbonize sector? How SAF supports business travel reduction targets while balancing business imperatives and how the industry can collaborate to advance SAF production.

Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is an alternative fuel made from non-petroleum feedstocks that reduces emissions from air transportation. SAF can be blended at different levels with limits between 10% and 50%, depending on the feedstock and how the fuel is produced.

• Bio: 
  Henry Barrera is a Sustainability Consultant at Delta Air lines.  He is responsible for educating customers on Delta’s sustainability strategy, stimulating industry demand for SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) and facilitating SAF purchases with corporate and agency customers. 
   
  He is a graduate from Columbia University’s Climate School where he received his M.S. in Sustainability. 
  In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, running, reading and watching movies on half-off Tuesdays (you will probably find him at his local movie theater on a Tuesday night)."
