Speaker: KEVIN MAGUIRE - CCTE, GLP, GTP

Kevin Maguire is the Regional Vice President for Latin America Operations for the Global Business Travel Association. He is the former Chairman and former President of GBTA and also is the Executive Producer for the upcoming television series, “Jack Maguire’s Texas Tales”, based on amazing, but true stories from Texas history.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, he began his extended travel industry career as a campus sales representative for Pan American World Airways.  He is considered an innovate leader in managed sports travel, having built an award winning program for the UT Athletic Department.  He is a consultant to several collegiate and professional sports teams and international sports organizations.  In addition, Kevin is a frequent speaker and panelist at travel-related functions, a member of several travel industry and business advisory boards, and has taught travel-based courses and seminars for a number of years at several colleges throughout the country.

Business Travel News recognized Maguire by honoring him twice with the travel industry’s “Best Practitioner Award” and twice by naming him one of the “Top 25 Most Influential Executives” in corporate travel. He was named the industry’s 2012 “Travel Manager of the Year” by BTN/The Pro Media Group.
